Assistant Food and Beverage Manager

Hilton Stockholm Slussen is recruiting for a service minded and quality focused Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to be responsible for our F&B outlets and conference & events operations. You enjoy working close to the team on the floor and at the same time as you work strategically to develop our products and service to exceed guest expectations.

Hilton Stockholm Slussen is a full-service hotel located with a view over the old town. In addition to the 289 guest rooms and large meeting facilities, we operate two F&B outlets and our auditorium as an event location.

Together with the Operations Manager, you will work close to the day-to-day operations leading two Restaurant Managers and the F&B team to deliver exceptional guest service while driving revenue and efficiency for strong results.

To be successful in the role you enjoy working closely with the team. You bring a genuine interest and understanding for hospitality as well as food & beverage. You have an eye for details to ensure consistency in the team´s guest service and product knowledge. You also have a strategic mindset to continuously develop our F&B offerings.

You will be responsible for performing the following key tasks to the highest standards:
• Ownership of the hotels F&B operations in collaboration with the Executive Chef and Operations Manager.
• Be embedded in the daily operation to drive team performance.
• Provide exceptional organizational advice and guidance to the Restaurant Manager, F&B Shift leaders and the team on the floor.
• Drive guest service quality objectives set from Hiltons guest satisfaction survey tool, SALT, with the team.
• Commercially-focused; the ability to deliver exceptional business performance and results
• Ownership of the hotel’s beverage including creating and updating a competitive beverage offering in all F&B outlets as well as maintain beverage inventory.
• Exceptional collaboration with the reservations and sales departments to ensure revenue maximization and guest satisfaction.
• Assist Marketing with commercial events/material for F&B and staging & photographing products for social media.
• Have a people focus: Team development as per Hiltons Talent Management cycle as well as conducting regular team meetings & training sessions as per business and team needs
• Ownership and development of scheduling and all associated tasks to ensure productivity in line with set payroll budget.
• Responsible for the department’s financial procedures together with Operations Manager.
• Ownership of POS system Micros.

Qualifications – What are we looking for?
You have work experience in a leadership role within Food & Beverage in a hotel or restaurant with the aspiration to develop further. We see that you have 2 years work experience in a leading F&B role preferably including conference and events.

It will be beneficial for this role with a hotel management degree or similar.

It is important to be able to communicate in both Swedish and English.

You are comfortable using a computer as a working tool with knowledge of excel and related programs. It is beneficial if you have worked with MICROS and our scheduling system TimePlan.

You enjoy a flexible working schedule including a mix of daytime and evenings including some weekends as per business needs.

Preferable starting date: Beginning of February 2023
