Nuts and bolts of the job
• Work well independently or with the team and take full ownership of our food offering
• Give input to the Head Chef on menu creativity with the courage to try something different and deliver innovative, locally inspired food & beverage offerings appropriate to the guest community
• Keep up to date with local food trends
• Carry out all preparatory tasks ensuring good quality produce at all times
• Know your city, its cafes/bars and restaurants
• Assist the Head Chef to exceed the budgeted departmental P&L
• Operate a clean hygienic kitchen at all times
• Ensure that you remain compliant with all local food hygiene legislation
• Make sure kitchen records are always ready and up to date such as temperature record, cleaning record etc.
• Know all statutory legislation and ensure H&S and Fire Safety compliance

• Excellent communication & people skills
• You must be eligible to work in the EU to be considered for this role

Your rock star experience
• Experience working within the food industry in a similar role
• A passion for your city, for travelling and for trending food concepts
• Knowledge of contemporary interests and the city
