Hotel Kungsträdgården is looking for a dedicated Concierge Assistant!

Hotel Kungsträdgården – The King’s Garden Hotel – is an independent and family-owned hotel with 94 individually designed rooms in elegant Gustavian style, located in the very heart of Stockholm. Since opening our doors in 2015, our GM Jörgen Björnstad and his team have built a culture where every guest interaction counts – a philosophy that continues to guide everything we do.

With a strong focus on personal service and a dedicated team, we’ve become a favourite home away from home for both international business travellers and leisure guests. Now, we’re looking for an outgoing professional to join our Guest Service Team in a role that combines operational excellence with personalized guest relations.

About the Role
As a Concierge Assistant, you will be a key pillar of our Guest Service team, working alongside our Lead Concierge. This is a hybrid role designed for someone who loves the logistics of a high-end hotel but has the heart of a storyteller.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve managing the front desk – handling bookings, check-ins, and check-outs – while serving as the primary point of contact for guest requests. You will act as a local expert, providing tailored recommendations, arranging reservations, and ensuring that every guest’s stay in Stockholm is seamless and memorable.

Terms of Employment:
• Extent: 50–75% part-time position.
• Schedule: Shifts include mornings, evenings, and weekends.
• Opportunity: Potential for a permanent position for the right candidate.

We’re looking for someone who:
• Is a master of communication: You are well-versed in English, both written and spoken. Swedish is a merit.
• Possesses a ”Can-Do” attitude: You are resourceful and thrive on finding solutions for our guests, no matter how unique the request.
• Is a Stockholm Ambassador: You have a passion for the city and are eager to learn and share its best-kept secrets with our guests.
• Is poised and professional: You maintain a calm, welcoming demeanour even during busy periods.
• Is detail-oriented: You take pride in accuracy, from managing reservations to handling financial transactions.

It’s a bonus if you also:
• Have experience with booking systems such as HotSoft or Opera.
• Speak additional languages (French, German, Spanish, etc.).
• Have previous experience in a concierge, guest relations, or high-end hospitality role.
• Have experience giving guided tours or presenting products with enthusiasm.

• Take ownership: You are a team player who is also confident in taking the lead to resolve a guest’s needs.
