Director of Finance

Position
We are now looking for a Director of Finance who will have overall responsibility for planning, directing and managing the provision of accurate, timely and objective financial data from which informed management decisions can be made.
You will direct the preparation of annual budgets and monthly forecasts and reports and provide advice on strategies aimed at cost minimization and maximization of revenue opportunities.

In conjunction with the General Manager, you are responsible for compliance with relevant contractual and legal obligations, hotel Finance policies, the Hotel Management Contract and all other Marriott Corporate Policies.
You will lead and inspire the Finance associates; conduct development and performance reviews and identify high potentials for further development. You will implement and maintain training systems to ensure that associates have the necessary framework and skills to perform their jobs efficiently and effectively.
As a member of the Executive Committee, you will support the hotel’s financial goals to ensure that financial expectations are met.

Requirements
This is an ideal role for a results orientated individual. You must be extremely organized with a strong ability to multi-task. Excellent communication skills are essential. A collaborative leader with a strategic and analytical focus. Influencing and innovating abilities that span beyond their immediate direct reports as well as demonstrated sound decision making skills and good judgment are critical.

You will have a Bachelor’s Degree and/or Master’s Degree in Accounting or Finance or related area required and four to six years related experience in hospitality, including at least three years of managerial experience.
