Best Western Scandinavia offers the best of both worlds. In your role you will working closely with all local member hotels and use the expertise and network of one of the world’s largest hotel chains with more than 4000 hotels in over 100 countries.

As Distribution System Specialist you are part of the Distribution and Revenue Management Team based in Stockholm, and you report to the Distribution Systems Manager. The position of Distribution Systems Specialist works towards and supports a state of the art distribution landscape with the aim to equip Best Western Scandinavia with the required distribution landscape to take on future business demands.
In depth knowledge of hotel property management (PMS) and hotel booking systems is required.
As a person, the Distribution Systems Specialist, is solution and goal oriented and has a strong sense of business development and is led by commercial focus.

Some of your future responsibilities in this role are:

• Engage in and support all initiatives and tasks to further develop BW Scan distribution systems
• Assure BW hotels are bookable in all BW systems and booking channels
• Pro-actively engage in and drive distribution and enhancement projects
• Provide first and second level support related to BW distribution systems
• Own distribution related tasks during the onboarding process of new hotels

Your experience and qualifications:

• 1-2 years’ experience in hotel reservations and booking systems
• In depth knowledge of at least one of the following PMS systems: Hotsoft, Suite8 or Opera
• Basic system development and integration experience
• Willingness and eagerness to develop in the role
• Hands-on approach towards systems
