Operations Manager

We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Operations Manager for the Paradox Museum in the heart of Stockholm! You have the ability and desire to launch operational activities and create conditions for future growth.

Your Responsibilities
As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the smoothness, efficiency, and quality of the museum’s daily operations. You will oversee customer experience, personnel management, and business administration in close collaboration with the museum’s management team. Your key responsibility areas are customer experience, personnel leadership, and business management. In this role, you will report to the museum’s General Manager and be part of the museum’s management team.

Customer Experience
• Creating a pleasant and memorable experience for visitors
• Ensuring a high-quality visitor experience and customer safety
• Leading the daily team operations and promoting a quality culture
• Overseeing the museum’s maintenance and operational condition

Personnel Management
• Recruiting, onboarding, and training staff
• Work shift planning and monitoring work safety
• Making sure labor laws are being strictly followed
• Leading young team generation Z
• Motivating and coaching the team, ensuring team success, supervision, and development

Business Management
• Budgeting and expense management
• Collaboration with Marketing and General Manager to achieve business goals
• Managing and overseeing operational business processes
• Regular reporting to the museum’s General Manager

Your Profile
You have a relevant education (e.g., in business administration, management, or a related field) and a minimum of five years of experience in a leading position with high awareness of labor law within the entertainment, hotel or tourism industry. You possess excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. You are fluent in Swedish and English, and on top of that, you have a results-driven, flexible, and innovative work approach.
